Incorporation of CEDAW into UK law - sign the petition

Members of NEWN and the CEDAW working group have just returned from Geneva where they were working to ensure that the UK government is called to account against its commitments to eliminate discrimination against women and girls.

We are being asked to sign a petition about CEDAW on the Government's website and circulate it as widely as possible:

Festival of Feminist Ideas and Action 2019 - final programme

The Gender and Society Research Hub have organised this fantastic Festival of events to mark International Women’s Day, 2019. This year’s theme is ‘visual feminism’ and the Festival kicks off in splendid style on Thurs 7 March, with our very own Carol Stephenson and Katy Jenkins, with Jean Spence, talking about activists’ use of photography in activism.
