Rural Women in the North East - Case Study for CEDAW

The Women's Resource Centre has prepared a case study featuring issues facing rural women in the NOrth East, as part of its work to highlight issues to be addressed by the UK report to CEDAW, the Committee for Elimination of Discrimination against Women and Girls. The case study has been contributed to by local women's organisations Women's Workshop (Fourth Action) and the Diverse Women's Network, and features analysis of the situation for rural women in Northumberland, and also BAME women in Durham.
