This is a new documentary about the life and work of early feminist Josephine Butler. You can view it online at https://vimeo.com/262196971
Josephine gave a voice to women who were being exploited and treated barbarically as part of the Contagious Diseases Acts. She also shone a light on the sexual trafficking of women and girls in the later hall of the 19th century. She is now largely forgotten, but the work she did still has resonances today.
