SEXUAL VIOLENCE ADVOCATE (Bilingual) - 2 Part time roles: 18 hours each - £22,462 (pro rata)
You will provide bilingual information, advice, support and advocacy work on all forms of gender-based violence, with a focus on sexual violence. You will support survivors who have experienced sexual violence as well as other forms of violence including honour based abuse and harmful practices such as forced marriage and FGM; You will women who have experienced immigration abuse and destitution as well as issues to do with matrimonial concerns, child protection, housing and homelessness, mental health and financial matters. Your casework will focus on women with complex needs, and the majority of the caseload will be in support of multi-lingual women.
This post is also offered as a trainee position for women who do not have a background in VAWG advocacy but have the passion and commitment to support women survivors.
You will have regular contact with vulnerable women at risk and on occasion their children and will be required to demonstrate commitment to safeguarding and protecting all service users from harm and abuse.
SEXUAL HARASSMENT WORKER - 21-28 hrs £24,657 (pro rata)
You will deliver specialist legal casework support to women and young women experiencing sexual harassment in a variety of contexts such as at work, community, in public spaces or abusive relationships. You will advocate and support women to seek legal advice and with litigation where relevant as well as access recovery support. You will build capacity and awareness in institutional and community settings to better understand sexual harassment and will hold a small caseload supporting survivors or those at further risk of sexual harassment. This is part of a national project working in partnership with London Black Women’s Project (LBWP) and Latin American Women’s Aid (LAWA), therefore an ability to network and think strategically is desired.

ANGELOU HAVEN - FLOATING SUPPORT WORKER - 18 hours per week - £21,680 Pro rata
To provide one to one and group support to women and children accommodated in Angelou Haven and move on accommodation. You will work with women in the refuge and support them into move-on accommodation. You will provide practical and emotional support to women and children who have experienced violence and abuse, enabling them to determine their own future and lead independent lives free from abuse: assisting with issues around finances, health, housing, life skills, personal safety, legal issues, children, employment, training and education.
