Two-thirds of women worry about sexual harassment at festivals – survey

The Guardian reported on a new Durham University study, which reveals 30% of women say they have been sexually harassed and 10% sexually assaulted at music festivals. Concerns have been raised about the safety of women at music festivals after a survey found that almost seven out of 10 worry about prospect of sexual assault and sexual harassment at events in the UK. A further 30% of women said they had been sexually harassed and 10% had been sexually assaulted, the study by Durham University showed.
