The Rape & Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre (RSACC) was established in 1993, we work to end rape and sexual violence by supporting and empowering women and girls in Darlington and County Durham. Each year we support over 750 survivors of sexual violence. We are a small independent charity with 14 staff and 30 volunteers. We are the only provider of specialist sexual violence services in Darlington and County Durham and commitment to ensuring survivors get the support they need.

We are seeking to recruit innovative and dynamic individuals who are committed to ending violence against women and girls. We are looking for individuals with any of the following skills:

   • Campaigning

   • Charity Governance
   • Business Development
   • HR
   • IT
   • Public Relations
   • Project Management

The main requirements of the role are to use your skills and expertise to help RSACC to achieve its charitable objectives and ensure its financial stability. Board meetings are held every 6 weeks in Darlington, with additional sub committees meeting as necessary.
