The Millin Charity is thrilled to have received funds from the NET Coronavirus Appeal Fund at the Tyne & Wear and Northumberland Community Foundation to support local women whose businesses or start-ups have been affected or disrupted by Covid-19.
This programme will offer a range of specialist support over the next few months including one-to-one advice and specially tailored workshops. More information will be coming soon, but just wanted to let you know about some of the first response workshops we have booked in.
RISK ASSESSING YOUR BUSINESS FOR COVID-19
Wednesday 22nd July 1.30 -3.30pm
This session will be delivered by Risk Management Consultant, Clare Talbot-Jones, and will support participants to identify and manage risks around Covid-19.
BASIC BOOKEEPING & MANAGING FINANCES
Tuesday 28th July 1.30 -3.30pm
This session will be delivered by our Business Advisor, Janet Cresswell, and will take participants through a range of basic bookkeeping tools and guidance for record keeping.
MAKING YOUR BUSINESS COVID-19 SAFE
Wednesday 5th August 10.30am -12.30pm
This session will be delivered by Risk Management Consultant, Clare Talbot-Jones, and will support participants to explore ways of trading safely.
