Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland are recruiting a Community Engagement Worker/Trainer – Older Women. Fixed Term Contract for one year, 37 hours per week, salary £24,657 (NJC point 27) plus 2% inflation award 19/20 Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland are seeking a proactive and creative woman who can build and maintain links with both statutory and voluntary agencies, including health, social care, criminal justice and adult safeguarding. You will increase awareness/provide training of sexual violence with older women with frontline practitioners and the wider community.  You need to have experience of working with older women in the community and a sound understanding of the issues faced by women survivors of sexual violence. Experience in developing and implementing campaigns to mobilise RCTN’s local partners online and off line would be desirable.  A commitment to working in a women-only environment is essential. Deadline for applications 1 March 2019. Interviews to be held 8 March 2019
