International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women marks start of 16 Days of Activism

The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women marks the beginning of the 16 Days of Activism.

The #16Days is an annual international campaign that kicks off on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.

To mark the #16daysofActivism that started on the 25th, Women's Resource Centre has curated a blog series on CEDAW, written by WRC staff members and guest writers. CEDAW sets out a framework for tackling discrimination against women.

What is CEDAW?

There are 16 blogs on 16 different CEDAW articles for each day of the 16 days and the CEDAW series will give you insight into what it is, how it has been used, what difference it makes, and how YOU can use it in your work and life.
