Do you hold an NVQ level 3 in Social Care or equivalent appropriate qualification? Do you hold an ISVA/ IDVA qualification or willingness to complete qualification? Do you have experience working within a multi-agency and legislative framework - attending and providing reports to multi-agency meetings? Do you have experience working with vulnerable people, including victims of sexual and domestic abuse? Do you have experience of managing a caseload?
Do you have theoretical, practical and procedural knowledge of civil and criminal remedies for victims of sexual and domestic abuse and their children? Do you have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children? Do you have the ability to provide non-judgemental, impartial information to empower individuals to make informed choices? Do you have strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations?
