Get your voice heard: CEDAW 2019 and Women's Rights in UK Public Law and Commissioning Survey

We want your opinion on how the government protects and promotes women's rights and women's organisation in the UK.
Take part in our survey via the link at the bottom of this email, by Monday 30th September.

In March 2019, the CEDAW Committee published a set of recommendations on how the UK could better protect and promote women's rights.

The UK and devolved governments have until 2023 to implement these recommendations before they must report back to the UN on progress made, although three overarching recommendations and one surrounding BREXIT must be reported on in 2021.

Women’s Resource Centre (WRC) are monitoring the progress that the Government is making towards those recommendations that have a direct impact upon women’s organisations. This survey is the beginning of this process and we will be following it up with a selection of short telephone interviews to clarify and expand some of the information if needed, followed by some regional focus groups. We will be reporting the findings before the end of the 2019.
