Gender Equality Peer Educator Vacancies - West End Women and Girls

We are very excited to announce we have received 2-year funding from Paul Hamlyn Act for Change fund to employ two young women as gender equality peer educators. We have two full time posts available and are now taking applications. The role will involve working with other young women and girls to tackle gender inequality and to joyfully Smash the Patriarchy. Job Vacancy - Women First Lead Finance and Project Manager

There is a new senior post being advertised for the Women First ESF Project, which supports women facing barriers to work. It is being delivered by five local women's organisations and projects and the role is to take a lead on finance and project management. The project lead organisation is the Angelou Centre, but initially the post will also be supported by Riverside Community Health Project, wher it will be based.

£27, 930 (pro rata)  18 hours a week, Jan 2020 - Sep 2021.

The Rape & Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre (RSACC) was established in 1993, we work to end rape and sexual violence by supporting and empowering women and girls in Darlington and County Durham. Each year we support over 750 survivors of sexual violence. We are a small independent charity with 14 staff and 30 volunteers. We are the only provider of specialist sexual violence services in Darlington and County Durham and commitment to ensuring survivors get the support they need.
