Cleveland Police consult on Everyone Matters

Cleveland Police has launched a six-week consultation on its Everyone Matters Strategy and Delivery Plan which sets out the forces approach to Equality, Diversity and Human Rights. It is seeking views and feedback on its proposed Strategy, objectives and suggested actions.  The consultation will focus the forces work in this area until 2020 and is open until 30th September 2016.

HMIC wants views of domestic abuse practitioners

Every year Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary (HMIC), who are responsible for independently assessing police forces and policing in England and Wales, carry out a PEEL (police effectiveness, efficiency and legitimacy) inspection of all 43 forces. In 2016 the effectiveness element of this will take place from September to November 2016. 

Celebrate your volunteers

The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK, is open for nominations. This annual award recognises and rewards excellence in voluntary activities carried out by groups in the community.  Anyone in the UK can nominate a group. The deadline for nominations to the 2017 Awards is 16th September 2016.
