Date and time:
What are the key topics of the day and how do we start to make change together? Tees Together is a discussion series which links critical thinking, current events, politics, activism, and art practice.
In this special edition of Tees Together, marking International Women’s Day 2020, we discuss themes of visibility and voice. We explore the importance of being seen and heard, and listening to others.
Guests include Elisha Lowther, activist, Trans Aware Middlesbrough, Lisa Lovebucket, artist and performer and Rosemary Stubbs, PhD researcher on working class women and activism at Teesside University. Rosemary will also chair the discussion. Programmed in collaboration with the English and Creative Writing Research Seminar Group at Teesside University.
