As part of 16 Days of Activism, EVAW, in partnership with Rape Crisis, CWJ and Imkaan will be launching our report, The Decriminalisation of Rape: Why the justice system is failing rape survivors and what needs to change.

This report is a direct response to the government's Rape Review which is due to be published in late 2020-early 2021. It includes some staggering evidence about the decline in prosecutions, what support should be available for rape survivors engaging in the criminal justice process, and our recommendations for improving the system.

We will be launching with a Parliamentary event, l with a panel chaired by Alex Davies-Jones MP. Our panel will also include a number of cross-party MP's, as well as campaigners and policy experts in the field of criminal justice. There will then be an opportunity for questions from the audience.

We hope to see you there. If you have any further questions, please contact Emily Hilton, emily.hilton@evaw.org.uk
