Knock Down Barriers with Activate Collective Middlesbrough

A unique event for women happening in Middlesbrough on the evening of the 29th January, including pizza, a screening of the film Knock Down the House, and a discussion with inspiring grassroots women leading change:

- Jessie Joe Jacobs, Community campaigner, founder of 'A Way Out' and Labour
Candidate for Tees Valley Mayor

- Sophie Walker, Founder of the Activate Collective, Chief Executive of Young
Women's Trust and former Leader of the Women's Equality Party

- Marsha Garratt, activist, researcher, educator and public speaker on racism
and colonialism. Project Manager of Challenging Racism, Changing Lives
project working for social change.

We will share more about the funding we are launching for women interested in doing more. The event is free. The venues are wheelchair accessible and have accessible toilets. Financial support is available to subsidise the cost of travel/childcareto join us for the events where needed.
