Calling women change-makers! Are you new to leadership or would like to move into a leadership role one day? Do you want to be a feminist leader of social change?

Through training and peer action learning this FREE programme investigates and explores what makes a successful leader and a feminist leader of social change.

What's it about?

This programme provides you with theoretical and practical skills in feminist leadership that you will be able to apply in your life, in your organisation and in your community.

Who's it for?

This is for women staff members or volunteers at women’s organisations or groups in the UK. The programme is open for all women but we will prioritise women who identify as Black and minoritised between 20 and 30 years old.

The programme is suitable for those new to leadership and emerging leaders rather than established leaders.

Programme Structure

The programme consists of 2 days of intensive training on feminist leadership.

The training covers the following modules:

  • Feminism, Intersectionality and Leadership
  • Power and Empowerment
  • Unconscious Bias Interrupted
  • Burnout: Signs, Impact, Prevention
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Project Management
  • Presentation and Pitching
Social Action Project

Following completion of the training, the group will undertake a small-scale social action project where they will be able to put their leadership skills into practice. The trainers will return for a follow-up session to support the progress of the social action project. This session will include action learning elements that are tailored for the needs of the group. Once the project is complete, the group will present an evaluation of the project on the online platform.
