A distinguished panel discuss the role played by women in Sunderland as we approach the centenary of women being allowed to vote for the first time in a British general election (14 December, 1918). ITV Tyne Tees and Borders Political Correspondent Gerry Foley hosts a discussion featuring Sunderland MPs Julie Elliott and Bridget Phillipson as well as the former chief whip Baroness Hilary Armstrong.
